HIPS

Perfect for ABS support (and model building)!

HIPS is a very easy to use, high impact polystyrene filament.
This specific filament is an excellent supporting material that is often used in combination with ABS. Because HIPS is soluble in D'limonene, it ensures that ABS remains unaffected. This is one of the lightest and most reliable filaments. It has excellent adhesion between the different layers and can be glued very easily. Since HIPS warps only to a very limited extent, this material is extremely suitable for detailed printing. It is therefore often used in model building applications.
  • High impact resistance
  • Perfect for detailed printing
  • Light and durable
  • Practically no warping
  • Easy to glue
